Our days on the farm are getting longer, hotter, and more exhausting with each passing day. We usually have a high-five session when the day is actually over. Even Henry is pooped.
With every task we finish there is still endless chores to get done.
Farm work is never ending. And this time of year I am reminded of how demanding our job really is. My whole body aches.
The only thing to get us through is proper fuel.
And this little piece of heaven has given me that extra spring in my step. Man this hit the spot! Forget Advil, we have bbq sauce to ease the pain.
Ladies and gentleman let me introduce you to tortilla pizza. Yes, you heard me right, TORTILLA PIZZA! This little number is simple and ready in less than 15 minutes. When you are fresh out of pizza dough this is the next best thing.
This pizza pretty much used everything in our refrigerator. The recipe is delicious but feel free to use whatever is in your fridge. All you need is a tortilla wrap and some cheese. Everything else is up to you!
BBQ sauce, jalapeno, and pineapple pizza.
Preheat your oven to 425.
Spread a generous amount of your favorite bbq sauce over you tortilla.
Layer on some mozzarella cheese and some extra sharp cheddar cheese
Sprinkle on some diced red onion followed by jalepenos and diced pineapple.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Just until the cheese has melted and your tortilla is lightly browned.
Serve hot with a sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes.
Off to play frisbee with Henry. Enjoy your evening.
