a great way to start the day

I am currently enjoying a bowl of my delicious granola and some yogurt.  With a side of black coffee to get my day started on the right foot.

No farm work today, but a lot of cleanup work around home and a lot of errands to run in town.  We have to say goodbye to Charlotte today because she is heading back to Colorado.  It’s been great spending time with her and I will definitely miss her in the kitchen!

We made homemade butternut squash ravioli together last night.  They turned out really well and I will definitely try making these again!

By far the toughest part was the dough.  Just rolling it out and getting it thin enough was quite the challenge.  I am not quite sure why Charlotte is wearing pink sunglasses while she rolls out the dough….maybe someone was cutting onions near by?

But once the dough was thin enough we were able to stuff our ravioli with our delicious butternut squash.

Love my food processor!

We topped our ravioli with a brown butter sage sauce.  Perfect!

I will post the recipe for the ravioli later today.  Enjoy your Saturday.
