chili cheese fries

What’s the best thing about buffalo chili pie?  Left over chili.  And what do two hungry farmers want to do with left over chili?  Of course make chili cheese fries.  And thanks to Erika we have plenty of potatoes left from Windy Mountain Farm for french fries.

We fried the potatoes in Coconut oil.  Delicious and nutritious!

Desert was a unpictured Jonagold apple from the farm.  Our apple supply is running low.  booo.  We are heading to the big city tonight.  That big city being Boston.  We need to get out of our little country bubble and socialize with people our age.  Here we go!

    yay!! coconut oil!! we use it a LOT here in Maui–it’s so good and good for you too! (look for the virgin coconut oil-Garden of Life is a good brand) great for your skin especially in the winter months when it’s cold and dry, since it absorbs well

      we love cooking with it. I will keep my eye out for the Garden of Life oil. Where do you buy yours?

        I get mine at a local market. do you have a good health food store there? or even maybe Whole Foods would have it.
        what else do you make with it? I’m going to fry my potatoes in it like you did…yum!!
