Good morning from sunny Palm Beach Florida

What are we doing in Florida you might ask? We have decided to ditch the farming life, buy a yacht,  sail around the Florida Keys and drink margaritas all day long.

Just kidding.  We are visiting Taylor’s grandparents for a long weekend.  And the trip has been wonderful so far.  We have been eating a lot great food and playing fun card games.  The perfect way to spend some quality time with grandparents.  Since my grandparents have all passed away it feels really good to be around Taylor’s.

That lovely woman would be Taylor’s grandmother, and on the right his wonderful mom Jamie.

We ate at a cute little tapas restaurant last night and I ordered the sea scallops and a salad.  I love fish, and don’t eat it nearly as often as I would like.  But there is no excuse not to eat fish when you are in Florida!

This morning we woke up and  I ran 11 miles of the West Palm Beach marathon.  Then we came to Starbucks (where I am currently blogging) and I ordered another dreadful seasonal drink.  Peppermint mocha anyone?  Getting ready to have lunch with Taylor’s grandma.  Be back tomorrow to fill you in on all our Florida shenanigans.

Taylor really looks a lot like his Mom and Grandmom.

I used to play cards a lot with my grandmother, but nowadays no one but me seems to want to okay cards, sigh.

We heard it was “spitting’ snow in Boston this morning. We are enjoying our last day in the sun before heading home to snow boots and hats!

One last margarita for the season is in order!

Yes, please, make that two peppermint mochas! Yum! (And the sugar let-down/headache I can already feel). Taylor looks like his mom. Just sayin’.

He really does. Those peppermint mochas are dangerous! I am ready to swing by Starbucks (or 5bucks, as my sister says) for another one this morning.
