Sometimes a good way to kick off your weekend is with a nice glass of red wine.  After a long week of pruning apple trees I think a glass of red wine is well deserved.  Taylor and I always have aspirations of doing fun and adventurous things on weekend nights.  But what usually happens is we have a glass of wine or a beer and fall asleep by 9.  Are we 90? It sure seems like it these days.  All we want to do is sleep, sleep, and sleep some more.

These photos were taken about an hour before we went to bed. But at the moment we thought we had a big night ahead of us.

Henry was tired too.

Does anyone else feel more tired in the Winter?  Is it just that it’s dark so much more?

At least there’s always some left over Gypsy Soup.  I will be making this in huge batches!

Happy weekend everyone.

Well, at least you do physical work all day out in the cold. The same thing happens to us, but we sit at desks all day! A little wine or beer makes it worse, but who can live without wine and beer?

Okay. Taylor is sporting a new hair style and kinda dressed up for wine hour-so I’d say you two are making progress!

Oregon misses you, but can sense your arrival. THIS MONTH BABY!

It’s snowing here now and I feel tired all the time!

The darkness certainly makes you feel tired. At least here in Tucson, I can count on sunshine and sometimes, warmer weather. But we still have shorter days now.

The other night STM said, “Are you going to stay up or are you ready for bed.” It was 7:00.
