Take-out

What can I say…….even farmers have to resort to take-out once in a while.  And tonight was one of those nights.  After a day of harvesting kale, scallions, brussels sprouts, spinach, cabbage, and carrots, I was ready for an easy dinner.

Plus, my girlfriend Julie and I had just completed a 4 mile run and cooking wasn’t looking fun.  The only thing that did sound fun was a nice cold beer.

And eggplant parmesan.

Not the most flattering photo, but this was good.

And since this is the Bemis/Lieberg household, no meal is complete without a cheese plate. And of course another round of beers.

Off to play with Henry.  Hoping dinner tomorrow night is farm fresh! Have a great evening.
